We provide nutritious meals to over 10,000 people in need across Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Our food distribution efforts focus on daily wage workers, migrant laborers, and those living in old age homes and night shelters.
Each month, we distribute essential grocery kits to families in need. These kits include rice, oil, dhal, atta (flour), soap, sugar, and biscuits, ensuring that families have the basic ingredients to prepare meals.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Akshya Dharma Foundation played a crucial role in supporting affected communities. We distributed food, groceries, and essential items to those hardest hit by the pandemic, including daily wage workers and their families. Our efforts spanned across various locations such as Coimbatore, Erode, Salem, Dindigul, Palani, Trichy, Madurai, Chennai, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Palakkad, and Thrissur.
We believe in the power of community and actively engage with local communities to understand their needs and challenges. Through regular interactions and feedback, we tailor our programs to better serve the people we aim to help. Our community engagement efforts also include awareness campaigns on health, hygiene, and nutrition, empowering individuals with the knowledge they need to lead healthier lives.
Volunteers are the backbone of our foundation. We offer various volunteer programs that allow individuals to contribute their time and skills to our cause. From helping with food distribution to organizing community events, our volunteers play a crucial role in the success of our initiatives. We provide training and support to ensure that our volunteers can make a meaningful impact.
We collaborate with other organizations, businesses, and government agencies to amplify our impact. By partnering with like-minded entities, we can pool resources, share expertise, and reach more people in need. Our collaborations help us to implement large-scale projects and bring about sustainable change in the communities we serve.
